Founding of Inter-Metro Freight, Inc.
Inter-Metro Freight started as the in-house trucking company for Fedway Associates, one of the largest wine & spirits distributors in the state of New Jersey. With a dedicated and dynamic sales team and marketing strategy, lead by Ralph Ippolito, our market grew to offering heavy weight containerized cargo to freight forwarders, steamship lines, custom brokers, importers, exporters and freight brokers.

Creation of Red Rooster Beverage
In 1990, we created the Inter-Metro Group which consists of; Inter-Metro Freight, Inc., Red Rooster Beverage, Inc. and Sunshine Human Resources, Inc.
2006
Heavy Weight Transport opens in Savannah, GA
Heavy Weight Transport Savannah was opened under the group umbrella.
